Primary Duties and Performance Deliverables - Advanced Patient Intake Evaluation: Coordinate rooming assignments for arriving canine and feline cases, securing detailed clinical histories, cataloging specific prescription usage, and gathering basic vitals. - Laboratory Sample Management: Perform complex clinical collections including venipuncture and cystocentesis, execute in-house blood chemistry and hematology tests, and process specialized biological shipments for reference labs. - Anesthetic Induction and Monitoring: Calculate standard drug configurations, assist attending practitioners with airway intubations, track real-time physiological signs using telemetry equipment during surgical cases, and manage post-operative recovery blocks. - Digital Diagnostics Operation: Adjust and position patients to obtain diagnostic-grade whole-body and dental digital radiographs, strictly applying state-regulated radiation protective protocols. - Patient Discharge Counseling: Walk pet owners through detailed post-treatment instructions, explaining wound care protocols, dynamic dietary guidelines, and specialized prescription dosing routines.
