  • Stay knowledgeable about a wide array of rotating food and drink choices.
  • Consistently monitor the environment within the Reserve Cafe and its surroundings to anticipate customer and store demands.
  • Enhance the Reserve Cafe visit by interacting with patrons and catering to their needs effectively.
  • Create and put together different dishes on the food menu like pizza, croissants, brioche, sandwiches, salads, and made-to-order baked eggs and aperitif choices.
  • Maintain the food display case by restocking regularly to preserve its attractiveness throughout the day.
  • Verify that proper proofing techniques are applied to a range of doughs and laminated pastries.
  • Complete daily preparation lists and production requirements to meet specified goals for both the range and volume of items needed during different times of the day.
  • Abide by the prescribed procedures for handling inventory and storage.
  • Complete the production records and all other relevant paperwork as per company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Starbucks' operational policies, which cover aspects such as cash handling, safety regulations, and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • The service industry (kitchen, restaurant, bar, or hospitality) requires direct engagement with customers to meet their requirements effectively
  • Competence in English proficiency includes adeptness in reading, writing, and oral communication
  • Open to working at different times, such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • The possession of a food handler card is typically not obligatory unless specified by law
  • Basic knife skills
  • Swift learning capacity
  • Proficiency in deciphering and implementing verbal and written commands; seeking additional clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capability to engage in teamwork, cultivating beneficial relationships
  • Keen eye for detail, a solid commitment to work, capability to juggle various tasks, and expertise in prioritizing responsibilities
  • Ability to flex, rotate, squat, stretch, crawl, exert pressure, climb steps, and be on foot for extended periods
  • Ability to carry 35 lbs consistently and occasionally lift/push up to 50 lbs
