About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing retail distribution company, is seeking diligent and dependable Warehouse Associates to join their team in Virginia Beach, Virginia . This entry-level position is fundamental to ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, focusing on the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong work ethic. You will work as part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that orders are prepared and dispatched correctly and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming inventory, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage. Unload and load trucks and containers efficiently and safely. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (certification may be provided). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in all areas of the warehouse. Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management as directed. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or shipments to supervisors. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times. Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals. Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures is beneficial. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional overtime, as needed. Benefits
