Job Description:

Al Andalus Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary Classroom Teachers for grades KG through 5th for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (Math, English, Science, Social Studies) in accordance with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and respect for diversity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare and update curriculum maps to ensure alignment with educational standards and goals.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Uphold the mission and values of Al Andalus Institute of Pittsburgh.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,800.00 per month
