Managing complex fee-for-service and value-based contracting, the full-time Wisconsin Provider Contracting Advisor will negotiate with large physician groups and hospital systems while developing strategic network positions and maintaining strong provider relationships. Key responsibilities Lead contracting negotiations and manage projects related to market contracting strategy Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure aligned execution of network management initiatives Prepare and analyze the financial impact of provider contracts and develop strategies to improve medical cost and quality Required qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting and negotiations Background in managed care or health insurance, including commercial contracting Proven leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and guiding others Strong skills in provider relationship management and developing long-term partnerships Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies and hospital/provider business models
