Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Benefits Account Manager to their George Petersen Insurance team in Eureka, CA .

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers and company personnel. The Account Manager serves as the direct link between the company and its clients, servicing existing claim/benefit inquiries and resolving day-to-day client needs.

Essential Functions:

Assist clients with day-to-day questions that arise with regard to employee benefit program

Promptly identify and resolve claim/billing issues, working with the insured and the insurance carrier

Act as the liaison to internal service departments within the benefits division, including Flexible Spending Accounts and COBRA

Promptly respond to all client inquiries, including any Open Enrollment, Affordable Care Act (ACA), compliance and legislative questions

Assist callers with questions regarding compliance and legislation

Assist in all areas of the enrollment process, including eligibility, qualifying events, terminations and plan design clarification

Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to highest level possible

Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts

Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development

Prioritize workload and/or request assistance as required

Keep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accounts

Conduct open enrollment and educational meetings for employees

Competencies Qualifications:

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher).

Good listening, written and verbal skills and attention to detail.

Life and Health license is required .

Education Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

One to two years employee group benefit experience, knowledge of benefit enrollment systems and marketplace/exchange systems preferred.

This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of FRP's total compensation package for employees.

Pay Transparency Range

$60,000 $70,000 USD
