Weekend Front Desk Receptionist (Full-Time)

Lakeshore Marina, Chattanooga, TN

Position Type: Full-Time (Weekends Required)

Wednesday thru Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Summer Time)

Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Winter Time)

Lakeshore Marina is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Assistant to be the face of our marina. You will play a key role in daily operations by assisting customers, supporting boat rental activities, and working closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Customer Service & Reception

Greet customers, guests, and marina members with a welcoming and professional attitude

Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding slips, rentals, and services

Handle reservations, check-ins, and general customer support

Boat Rental Support

Assist with boat rental bookings, scheduling, and check-out/check-in processes

Help maintain an organized and efficient rental workflow

Administrative & Operations Support

Support the General Manager with daily operational tasks and special projects

Maintain organized customer records, contracts, and files

Assist with inventory tracking, retail items, and office supplies

Process payments accurately (cash, card, etc.)

Keep the front desk, office, and retail areas clean and organized

Jump in where needed to support overall marina operations

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic software (Google Docs, etc.)

Previous receptionist, retail, hospitality, or marina experience is a plus

Must be available to work weekends (required)

Ability to work peak summer hours and holidays

Ability to stand for extended periods and work both indoors and outdoors
