Responsibilities

• Safely operate electric utility power distribution protection and industrial electrical systems.
• Provide emergency response and service restoration in industrial electrical system outage conditions.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electric utility transmission and distribution control, metering, and industrial electrical systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Must be a qualified Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial and/or utility environment
• Experience in power distribution, generation systems and associated controls
• Understanding of OSHA and industry standard lock-out tag-out safety procedures
• Ability to pass a role-specific, technical knowledge-based written assessment and interview
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Possess the ability to interpret blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industry standard utility system and industrial application protective relaying systems and principles
• Experience in industrial motor control including variable frequency drives
• Experience troubleshooting and calibrating power distribution systems, and protection systems and devices

Preferred Education

• An Associate degree in an engineering related field is desired

Schedule Availability: Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $41.01 per hour.
