Job Summary

A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient clinic in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care in a focused, professional setting. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys helping patients carry out treatment plans, improve movement, and make progress toward daily function.

You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and assist patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, and hands-on treatment.

Position Details

Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Office

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour

Schedule: Flexible — 4-day work schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities

Assist with mobility, strength, balance, and movement training

Monitor patient response during treatment sessions

Report progress, concerns, or changes to the supervising PT

Educate patients on proper exercise form and home program follow-through

Document treatment sessions clearly and on time

Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic space
