We are seeking a detail-oriented Amazon Inventory Recovery & Unfulfillable Specialist to join our Global Services team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end process of identifying, investigating, and recovering value from inventory exceptions across our Amazon accounts. Your primary focus will be on unfulfillable inventory management, with additional ownership across lost & damaged claims, inbound reconciliation, stranded inventory resolution, and reimbursement recovery.

This is a high-impact, data-driven position for someone who thrives in the details of Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central, can move quickly to act on exception reports, and takes pride in recovering revenue that would otherwise be left on the table.

Key Responsibilities

Classify unfulfillable units by disposition type (customer damaged, defective, distributor damaged, carrier damaged, expired)

Coordinate removal orders or disposal requests in line with account strategy and client SOPs

Identify units eligible for regrade or return to sellable condition and coordinate repackaging workflows

Maintain accurate records of unfulfillable unit counts, trends, and resolution actions

Build and maintain dashboards or trackers to report unfulfillable inventory KPIs to account managers and clients

Lost & Damaged Inventory

Identify lost and damaged inventory at Amazon fulfillment centers using Seller Central reports and the FBA inventory reconciliation tool

File and track claims with Amazon for units confirmed lost or damaged by FBA

Follow up on open claims through resolution and ensure reimbursements or replacements are received

Maintain a claims log with status, amounts, and outcomes

Inbound Inventory Reconciliation

Reconcile shipped quantities against Amazon-received quantities for all inbound shipments

Identify and document short-receives, over-receives, and missing units

Submit research requests and claims for inbound discrepancies within Amazon's required timeframes

Coordinate with 3PL, prep centers, or direct suppliers to resolve carrier-side discrepancies

Unfulfillable Stranded Inventory

Monitor stranded inventory reports and identify root causes (listing suppressed, listing deleted, pricing errors, compliance holds) Resolve listing-side issues in coordination with catalog or content teams to restore stranded units to active status

Escalate unresolvable strandeds to Amazon Seller Support or account management for removal or disposal decisions

Track stranded inventory aging and flag units approaching long-term storage fee thresholds

Inventory Reimbursements

Audit reimbursement reports to identify unclaimed reimbursements for lost, damaged, or destroyed units

Cross-reference reimbursement data against removal orders, lost claims, and shipment records to find gaps

File manual reimbursement cases through Seller Central or via third-party audit tools as applicable

Track reimbursement recovery amounts on a per-ASIN and per-account basis and report monthly
