What you can expect each day:

• Operate multiple machines simultaneously to maximize production while maintaining part tolerances
• Determine the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the tools needed
• Follow instructions on travelers and specifications
• Work with the setup personnel to troubleshoot and correct problems with programs and/or machine setups.
• Use lean and Six Sigma to optimize, improve productivity and reduce waste/improve yields
• Participate in corrective and preventive actions
• Optimize, troubleshoot and problem solve
• The marginal functions of this position have not been included. Employee is required to perform any work-related duty assigned by management*

What the position requires:

• Must be able to read and understand job orders, drawings/blueprints and other data and perform all the necessary calculations
• Experience with Fanuc controls and Haas controls
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Capable of meeting assigned deadlines
• Working knowledge of MRP processing
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with Fanuc controls, Haas

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years machining experience (preferred)
