Surgical First Assist (FT)

Assists in the surgical suite to provide a safe environment, with equipment that functions properly so the operative procedure is performed under optimum conditions for patient safety. Works under the supervision of the Surgical Nurse or the Surgeon.

Applies sterile and aseptic techniques and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical

procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician’s performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Wage starts at $37.96 per hour and goes up based on experience
