Position: Bartender/Mixologist for Butchers Cellar
This job is listed under Hilltop Tavern, but is for our sister restaurant, The Butcher's Cellar. The Butcher’s Cellar is seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Bartender/Mixologist to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and has a talent for creating unique cocktails that complement our elevated dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic and craft cocktails with consistency and precision.
- Develop and contribute new seasonal and signature cocktail creations.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and engage with guests in a professional, friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and bar organization.
- Follow all TABC regulations and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with management and kitchen staff to create memorable guest experiences.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and closing duties accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience required.
- Experience in craft cocktails and mixology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and cocktail preparation.
- Ability to create innovative cocktails and contribute to menu development.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- TABC certification required (or ability to obtain before employment).
- Food Handler's certification required or ability to obtain before employment.
