Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based opportunity in Mesa, Arizona. This role offers the chance to support students' functional and academic development while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and therapy professionals.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: July 27, 2026
  • End Date: May 2027

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans and student goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
  • Assist with therapy materials, activities, and equipment management
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Arizona COTA license required
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
