Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based opportunity in Mesa, Arizona. This role offers the chance to support students' functional and academic development while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and therapy professionals.
Work Schedule:
- Monday Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- End Date: May 2027

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans and student goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Assist with therapy materials, activities, and equipment management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Arizona COTA license required
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
