About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a Progressive Care Unit at a leading acute care hospital. This elite team cares for critically ill, medically complex patients—many ventilator‑dependent—requiring extended acute care. Key Responsibilities
Independently provide respiratory care in accordance with physician orders
Evaluate and recommend treatment plans to maximize patient performance
Operate oxygen, therapeutic gas, and mist inhalation equipment
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Schedule
12‑hour night shifts
36 hours per week
Weekends and on‑call as needed
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Care program
2+ years recent acute care RRT experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Compensation
$30‑$48 per hour based on experience
