Required Education:
Associate's degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
BLS required (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).
ACLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).
NRP or NALS certification (American Heart Association).
PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Skills Required:
Two (2) years of combined current experience required in NICU and PICU.
Six (6) - twelve (12) months of adult critical care, progress care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics experience.
Must have initiated and managed high frequency oscillation and jet ventilation within two (2) years current experience.
Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Epic EMR experience preferred; can train on site.
