Job Title: Technician II Profession: Medical Lab Tech Specialty: Transfusion Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: N/A Certifications: ASCP/AMT Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner (PowerChart Millennium). - Proficiency in blood banking practices and procedures. - Familiarity with blood bank computer systems and analyzers used for testing. - Experience with Erytra Gel and Tube testing. - Competence in working with adult and neonate patients. Description: This position focuses on blood banking. The role is for a Technician II within the Transfusion Services specialty. Candidates should have experience with the blood bank computer system and analyzers. The position involves working with both adult and neonate patients. Shifts are from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. There are expectations for on-call hours as part of the role. This is a temporary position with a duration of 13 weeks. Candidates must possess the required certifications. The role demands excellent skills and proficiency within a fast-paced medical environment.
