Armed Security Officer (Part-Time) Location: Chicago, IL

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time

Join Our Security Team We are seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Armed Security Officers to provide security services at client locations throughout the Chicago area. This position emphasizes observation, reporting, patrol operations, and emergency response while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Required Qualifications Active Illinois PERC Card

Active Illinois FOID Card

Current Illinois 40-Hour Armed Security Training Certificate

Personal firearm and all required permits

High school diploma or equivalent

Reliable transportation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to write clear, accurate incident and activity reports

Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience

College coursework in criminal justice, security, or a related field

Experience with patrol operations and incident response

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Key Responsibilities Monitor and report security-related activities and incidents

Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols as assigned

Identify and report suspicious persons, activities, or safety concerns

Complete detailed incident reports and Daily Activity Reports (DARs)

Enforce site rules, policies, and post orders

Respond to emergencies and provide security assistance when needed

Maintain a professional presence and provide excellent customer service

Assist in de-escalating potentially hostile situations
