What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors
As a Water Resources Engineer (EIT), you will play a key role in supporting municipal engineering projects, from design to construction oversight. Collaborating closely with senior engineers and project managers, you will assist in designing and implementing innovative infrastructure solutions that enhance communities. You will leverage your technical knowledge to ensure project success while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and team-focused environment.
Your Responsibilities
Assist in the design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, stormwater, and roadways.
Perform calculations and modeling for drainage systems, utilities, grading, and other civil engineering tasks.
Support the preparation of reports, technical memoranda, and other project documentation.
Conduct fieldwork, including site assessments, data collection, and construction observation, as needed.
Ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, municipal clients, and regulatory agencies to coordinate project requirements.
Support QA/QC processes by reviewing designs, reports, and calculations for accuracy and completeness.
Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling programs.
Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist in the preparation of permit applications and regulatory submissions.
