POSITION SUMMARY
Located in the Grand Rapids market, this position offers the opportunity to function as a crew lead and to interact with customers through the installation of solid surface, granite, and quartz surfaces. See the fruits of your labor as you transform spaces! Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Ensuring strong communication with customers (including effective problem resolution when applicable)
Reading orders and installing countertops to customer specifications
Facilitating safe, efficient, and precise installation of products
Obtaining proper customer sign off for work completed

This position offers a $400 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED required
Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record (can assist with obtaining chauffeur's license)
At least three years of countertop installation experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to lead by example, teaching and training new installers
Ability to follow prescribed programs and standards

Desire to help grow and develop the program and the business
Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Ability to complete tasks with accuracy

Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to safely operate all tools and equipment in the fabricating shop and on the installation truck
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
Commitment to work safely and efficiently at all times
Ability to read a tape measure
Dependable and reliable
Ability to safely lift and move granite and quartz countertop products and other heavy materials
Ability to draw CAD (AutoCAD) beneficial but not required , install experience, and/or templating experience
