Special Education Instructor

We are excited to announce an opening for a Special Education Instructor to join our dedicated team for the upcoming school year. In this full-time, school-based role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Your primary focus will be on delivering individualized instruction, fostering academic and behavioral growth, and ensuring all students have access to the curriculum in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated instruction based on individual student needs and learning styles
• Monitor and assess student progress while adjusting instruction based on data
• Support the behavioral, social, and emotional development of students
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active state teaching certification or eligibility
• Previous experience in K-12 special education settings preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
