Position Summary

Ridge Academy is seeking a passionate, faith-driven Elementary Teacher to lead students in grades 3-7. The ideal candidate loves working with children, embraces creative and engaging teaching methods, and is committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

This teacher will cultivate a classroom culture that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning while integrating biblical truth into all subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages student growth and development.
• Integrate a biblical worldview into daily instruction and classroom culture.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and parents to support student success.
• Maintain classroom organization, student records, and grading responsibilities.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development, and community activities.
• Foster strong relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Agreement with and commitment to Ridge Academy's Christian mission and values.
• A heart for partnering with parents in the educational process.
