We are hiring a Highly Skilled Carpenter to support federal and/or state government construction contracts within the Texas, United States. This role requires expert-level carpentry skills, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to perform work in compliance with government regulations.

Due to the nature of the contract and applicable federal requirements, this position is limited to U.S. citizens only .

Citizenship & Compliance Requirement (Government Contract)

S. citizenship is required for this position due to government contract obligations and/or federal security requirements

Candidates must be able to pass background checks and site-specific clearance requirements, as applicable

Perform rough and finish carpentry work on government-funded construction projects

Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials per specifications

Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, fixtures, cabinetry, and finishes

Operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery safely

Ensure all work complies with Davis-Bacon Act , OSHA regulations, and applicable building codes

Maintain clean, safe, and compliant job sites

Correct deficiencies identified during inspections

Minimum 8+ years of professional carpentry experience

Demonstrated expertise in rough and/or finish carpentry

Experience working on government, public works, or prevailing wage projects preferred

Ability to read and execute construction drawings and specifications

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials

Union / Prevailing Wage Alignment

Position may fall under union jurisdiction , depending on project and location

Union membership or willingness to join a union, if required by the project, is preferred

Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship or trade school

Prior experience on federal, state, or municipal construction projects

Prevailing wage pay rates , based on project location and classification

Overtime pay in accordance with federal and state labor laws
