Travel Respiratory Therapist jobs in Portland, OR start August 16, 2026, with 8-week assignments. You will work 12-hour day shifts for 36 hours per week and participate in on-call coverage. Required skills include an active Oregon license, NRP, BLS, and PALS certifications, all ages experience, and proficiency with EPIC and Cerner EMR systems within the last 24 months.
Your responsibilities include assisting with diagnosing and treating lung or breathing disorders, evaluating patients, performing pulmonary function tests, managing respiratory equipment, and participating in advanced life support measures for infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. You will educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
