The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing aging patient balances through proactive outreach. This position reviews aging reports, contacts patients regarding balances at various stages (31, 61, 91, and 121+ days past due), educates them on payment options, and documents all actions taken. The role focuses on resolving accounts while maintaining professionalism and a patient-centered approach.
