Our company is a family-owned roofing company that provides residential and commercial roofing services in the western Chicago suburbs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofing Repair Technician to join our team. The

ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing various roofing systems,

including shake, asphalt and brava. This role requires physical stamina, attention to

detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair roofing issues, including leaks, damaged shingles,
• flashing, and structural problems
• Perform routine maintenance on residential and/or commercial roofs
• Remove and replace roofing materials as needed
• Install and repair flashing, gutters, vents, and other roof components
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs
• Work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times
• Communicate with customers and supervisors to explain issues and repair
• solutions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Assist in cleanup and disposal of roofing debris

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Min 3 years of experience in roofing repair or general roofing work
• Familiarity with various roofing systems and materials
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and repair documentation
• Willingness to go up on steep roofs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification or willingness to complete safety training

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with both residential and commercial roofs
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Knowledge of roofing codes and industry standards

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage or salary - $30-32/hour
• Benefits are not provided for this position

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
