Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Remote Family Therapy Position | Delaware
Job Summary
A full-time opportunity is available for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who wants to provide therapy in a fully remote setting while serving clients in Delaware. This role centers on helping people understand relationship patterns, improve communication, manage conflict, and move through personal or family challenges with clearer support.
As a remote LMFT, your workday will include meeting clients through scheduled telehealth sessions, completing clinical assessments, documenting care, and guiding treatment using a family systems lens. You may support a couple working through recurring conflict, a parent navigating family stress, or an individual trying to understand how relationships affect their emotional health.
This is a practical, client-facing therapy role for a licensed clinician who is comfortable with virtual care and wants a reliable full-time position with strong pay and benefits.
Location: Delaware
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Meet with clients through scheduled video therapy sessions in a confidential remote setting
Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families dealing with relational, emotional, and behavioral concerns
Evaluate client needs and develop clear treatment goals based on clinical presentation
Support clients with concerns such as family stress, marital issues, communication problems, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and major life changes
Use appropriate therapeutic techniques rooted in marriage and family therapy practice
Keep session notes, treatment plans, and clinical records organized and up to date
Review progress regularly and help clients identify realistic next steps in treatment
Maintain professional boundaries and follow all privacy, HIPAA, and telehealth standards
Identify higher levels of care or outside referrals when a client’s needs require additional support
Participate in care coordination or case-related communication when clinically necessary
