Segra is excited to welcome a skilled and motivated Entry-Level Revenue Accountant to our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Work Arrangement:
This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in our office with the flexibility to work remotely for two (2) days each week.
Role Overview:
The Entry-Level Revenue Accountant will play a vital role in accurately managing revenue associated with Segra's non-funded, commercial telecom customer base. This position is essential for ensuring that all telecom services provided to our customers are correctly invoiced, recognized, and reported in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Key responsibilities include supporting the monthly closing process, validating data from billing integrations, and collaborating closely with various departments to ensure precise reporting.
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in revenue accounting, billing, or general accounting (experience in the telecom industry is a plus).
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and general accounting principles (GAAP) applied within the telecom sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (such as Business Central, MS D365, and Power BI).

Salary Range: $55,230 - $65,000
