Paired is looking for a talented Performance Video Editor to join one of our fast-growing consumer brand clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands performance creative, moves fast, and knows how to turn raw content into high-converting video ads.
This role is ideal for a creative editor with strong experience in paid social, UGC-style content, and short-form performance videos for platforms like Meta, Google, YouTube, Reels, and Shorts.
We are looking for a Performance Video Editor to support the development, editing, and optimization of high-performing paid and organic social video content.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing short-form video ads using creative briefs, scripts, creator footage, UGC, internal assets, stock footage, hooks, B-roll, motion text, captions, and sound design.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can work independently, think beyond the brief, and deliver strong creative output quickly. The focus is not just on making videos look good, but on creating content that captures attention, drives engagement, and supports business results.
Responsibilities
Edit conversion-focused video ads for Meta, Google, YouTube, and other paid social channels.
Turn creative briefs, scripts, and raw footage into engaging short-form video assets.
Edit creator, influencer, and UGC-style footage into platform-native ads while keeping the content authentic.
Create in-house ads using internal assets, stock footage, product visuals, hooks, B-roll, captions, motion text, and sound design.
Build multiple video variations per concept, including different hooks, lengths, formats, and aspect ratios.
Iterate on video ads based on performance data, including pacing, retention, scroll-stop, and hold-rate signals.
Follow platform specs and best practices across feed, Reels, Shorts, and in-stream placements.
Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets.
Organize assets, manage version control, and keep creative workflows efficient.
Proactively identify and repurpose existing UGC, creator, product, and brand assets to create fresh ad variations.
Take ownership of creative problem-solving when new footage is unavailable.
