Job Summary:Stock Handler
As an integral part of the team at Aramark, your role as a Stock Handler involves critical duties in streamlining the receipt, organization, and distribution processes for goods. Your tasks encompass aiding in warehouse operations, managing inventory levels, preparing orders, and ensuring a clean and secure work atmosphere.
Minimum Requirements:
- The minimum age for eligibility is 18 years
- Having a high school diploma or GED is the recommended credential
- Priority will be given to applicants with two years of warehouse experience
- Essential competencies in reading, writing, and arithmetic are necessary
- Basic computer literacy
- Demonstrates expertise in communication through writing and speaking competencies
- Competency in handling equipment with precise manual manipulation
- Can manage lifting weights of up to 50 pounds and is accustomed to carrying loads of up to 35 pounds regularly
- Depending on the location, a valid driver's license may be required, and applicants should be prepared for a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) examination

- Long stretches of walking and standing
- Repeatedly carrying out actions like lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location depending on client requirements and business needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Accept, verify, and tag delivered goods; highlight any deviations identified between the received products and the invoiced items
- Employ the FIFO system to manage perishable inventory by prioritizing the use of products based on their arrival dates
- Undertake tasks requiring the operation or instruction in using manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Collect and sort resources to meet the needs of product, material, and machinery requests
- Execute the transfer, unloading, and transportation of goods within the warehouse facility or to client sites employing carts or powered vehicles
- Execute routine inventory tallies at designated times
- Properly complete all documentation responsibilities, from updating inventory logs and conducting temperature checks to monitoring spoilage and inspecting equipment, using paper or digital systems accordingly
- Preserve the cleanliness of the warehouse environment, covering restroom facilities, break rooms, loading docks, and elevated platforms
- Maintain adherence to safety procedures, comply with OSHA regulations, consult Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for guidance, and understand protocols for handling emergencies
- Adhere to the requirement of wearing appropriate Personal Safety Equipment (PSE)
- Guarantee the security of both customer and organizational property
- Demonstrate professionalism when engaging with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors
- Attend gatherings and carry out additional responsibilities as designated
