Position Overview

This role designs, develops, troubleshoots, and introduces electrical and electronic components and systems for mobile equipment applications. The Electrical Design Engineer works closely with a senior team leader who holds overall responsibility for each machine's electrical system, ensuring designs meet all requirements.

Typical responsibilities include:

Designing component installations

Routing harnesses

Developing and maintaining electrical schematics

Interfacing with internal and external suppliers as well as other departments

Team Structure & Work Environment

Works closely with a senior team leader who is ultimately responsible for each machine's electrical system design

Primarily based in an office/cube environment, with regular meetings to discuss design challenges and resolutions

Periodic visits to the machine test area or manufacturing floor to evaluate designs in person
