Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Supply Chain Operations Specialist (Phlebotomy) to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina.

Hybrid Work Schedule

  • 3 – days in office, mandatory Wednesdays / 2 days remote
  • The Global Supply Chain team is based in Burlington, NC

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and administration of processes and procedures for the efficient operations of corporate supply chain operations, financial reporting and processing, in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proposes, participates, and assists with workflow engineering and standardization activities.
  • Relates professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Composes letters/memorandums.
  • Works with external clients and vendors under the direction of the reporting manager
  • Participates in training, workflow engineering and standardization activities.
  • Provides recommendations for enhancements to technology solutions, business requirements.
  • Assists in the creation of a project plan and keeps a task list as well as meeting minutes to be distributed to the stakeholders.
  • Proactive in uncovering issues while also collecting, analyzing, organizing and presenting data in a way that stakeholders can connect and understand what they are communicating.
  • Assists in the determination of operational gaps as well as assisting in developing potential remediation needed to resolve.
  • Assists in creation and presentation of training material.
  • Ensures work is completed by assigned deadlines.
  • Responsible for gathering front line employees, supervisors/managers, in order to manage components of a project or SOP revision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain operations, logistics, or a related operational environment
  • 1+ year of experience with phlebotomy practices, including familiarity with specimen collection processes, patient interaction standards, labeling, handling, and end-to-end specimen workflow within a clinical or laboratory setting
  • 1+ year of experience interacting with internal teams and/or external clients in a professional environment
  • 1+ year of experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including coordinating with departments such as operations, laboratories, logistics, or client services to support shared goals, resolve issues, and drive process improvements
  • Exposure to data analysis, including using basic analytical tools to review data, identify trends, and supporting operational decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience supporting client-facing interactions with both internal and external stakeholders
  • 1+ year of experience applying problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to assess reporting needs, interpret data, and recommend solutions
  • Understanding of Labcorp operations, including supply chain processes, laboratory systems, and/or contact center workflows
  • Demonstrated interest in laboratory operations, including how specimen flow, testing processes, and operational efficiency impact service delivery
  • Basic proficiency in Smartsheet or similar workflow/project management tools

Additional Job Standards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analytics tools; regularly used to create reports, analyze data, and support Supply Chain initiatives
