This position is for either CNC Milling Machine Operator or CNC Lathe Machine Operator or CNC Gun Drill Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the set up and operation of the multi-axis computer control machines, as well as inspecting their own parts. All CNC Machinists with a minimum of 2-year experience is encouraged to apply. Candidates with setup experience will be given advantaged consideration.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of two-year experience in Manufacturing with a Quality System (AS9100 / ISO9001).
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Blueprint Call outs, either from formal training or on the job experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to industry safety standards.
  • Set-up and operate CNC Milling or CNC Lathe, or CNC Gun Drill.
  • Inspect Product while practicing quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform in-process inspection as required to ensure 100% quality product.
  • Manage tooling life, make adjustments, change offsets, and modify programs as needed.
  • Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete job.
  • Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.

  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Any job, task, or function within your ability requested to do by management.

Special Requirements:

  • Must have good people skills. An in-depth knowledge of all the tools and fixtures related to aerospace machining industry.
