Financial Analyst

Position Overview

A growing financial services organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role will support financial reporting, business analysis, and management reporting activities while partnering with various departments across the organization. The position offers strong exposure to leadership and provides an opportunity to contribute to reporting improvements, business insights, and financial planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare recurring financial reports, management dashboards, and performance reporting packages.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including variance analysis and business performance reporting.
  • Support the development and maintenance of reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility into key business metrics.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and provide meaningful business insights.
  • Partner with teams across operations, sales, and other business functions to support reporting and analytical needs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects for finance leadership and senior management.
  • Participate in the preparation of executive presentations and management reporting materials.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and overall efficiency.
  • Utilize business intelligence and reporting tools to enhance data accessibility and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, FP&A, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of financial statements and basic financial analysis concepts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within financial services, lending, banking, or other data-driven industries is helpful but not required.
