Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish), motivated and customer-focused Full-Time Receptionist / On-Foot Recruiter to join our team. This dual-role position combines front desk administrative responsibilities with community-based recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain efficient office operations, and actively recruit qualified candidates by engaging with the public in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet visitors, clients, and applicants in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
  • Schedule interviews, appointments, and maintain calendars.
  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Maintain office supplies and provide administrative support to staff.

On-Foot Recruiter Duties:

  • Travel on foot within assigned neighborhoods, businesses, and community events to recruit potential candidates.
  • Promote available employment opportunities and explain job qualifications and benefits.
  • Distribute recruitment flyers and marketing materials.
  • Conduct initial screenings and collect employment applications.
  • Schedule interviews and follow up with prospective candidates.
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations to generate recruitment leads.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment goals while maintaining accurate records of recruiting activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, recruiting, sales, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors as needed.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Reliable transportation is preferred.
