Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Handle cashing out guests accurately while managing cash handling procedures responsibly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food service during busy hours or events.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by engaging with guests professionally and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Assist in bar management tasks including restocking supplies and maintaining beverage quality standards.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant or hospitality environment; fine dining or banquet experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and craft beer experience. (Bartender position)
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours.
  • Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and retail math calculations accurately.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
  • Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus but not required.
  • Must be 18 years or older with valid certifications where applicable; previous hospitality or retail math experience is beneficial.
  • TIPS certification
