Job Description:
- Days of Work/Shift Rotation - if pertinent: The employee will be assigned to a rotating schedule that begins at 5:00 AM and ends at 5:30 PM
- Working for the first week will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively, with a break on Wednesday, according to the schedule
- Tuesday and Wednesday comprise days two and three of the second week, with Monday being a day off and Thursday through Sunday finishing out the remainder of the week
- The norm for working hours every two weeks equals 96.
Compensation:
A candidate with the right experience can earn up to $32.00 in hourly rates for this job opportunity. Furthermore, there are local incentives available, including referral bonuses and an extra week of pay.
General Purpose
The individual in this role is responsible for managing a team, troubleshooting production line problems, and offering quick preventive and corrective Facilities Maintenance Helper, while also assisting in change-over procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine and rectify equipment faults by conducting thorough inspections and performing required repairs.
- Substitue and arrange up-to-date machinery.
- The ability to rebuild and fabricate parts is fundamental for ensuring that machines function efficiently.
- Manage facility maintenance requirements and preserve a safe and clean work atmosphere.
- Determine Reorder Points: To ensure that the inventory levels do not fall too low, it is important to determine the reorder points for each part. This involves determining the minimum quantity needed for each part before procuring it again.
- Follow all established procedures for documenting and tracking the progress and completion of work orders.
- Perform the transformation of equipment and the preparation of production setups.
Qualifications:
- This job opening mandates a High School diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
- The preferred educational requirement for this job is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
- The position calls for candidates with a background in industrial maintenance, preferably with 0-5 years of experience.
- Preferably, candidates should have experience in both mechanical and electrical fields for at least a year.
- We strongly prefer candidates who have experience in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Work history in a fast-paced industrial sector.
- Exhibited a strong aptitude for mechanics and technical problem-solving.
- Basic computer skills.
- Capability to adhere to the manufacturer's exact specifications and diagrams.
- Having experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is beneficial.
- It could be essential to provide hand tools.
