School Occupational Therapist - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Your responsibilities will involve direct support for a K-5 caseload, working alongside a group of dedicated OTs to allocate students and schedules before the start of school. The emphasis is on creating accessible, supportive educational environments, targeting the majority of services at the elementary level.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of school-based OT practices, including documentation, IEP participation, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school assignments

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide daily onsite OT services to students in elementary settings
• Participate in collaborative planning meetings before the school year begins to establish caseloads
• Assess, plan, and implement intervention strategies to support student goals and access to curriculum
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and contribute to IEPs as required
• Serve as a resource to educators and families, supporting student inclusion and success
