Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging sales and enhancing customer knowledge
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the store looks inviting and well-maintained
• Upsell relevant products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs
• Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos will help you excel in this role
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
