Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using industry-standard cleaning techniques.
• Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine and extend their lifespan.
• Handle custodial tasks like trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene and safety.
• Maintain facilities by assisting with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams.
• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure high-quality results in large or heavily trafficked areas.
• Support overall building upkeep through tasks like painting touch-ups or preparing spaces for special events when needed.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing and polishing, and facilities maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
