Krispy Kreme’s Market Sales Manager will manage execution, compliance, and growth across assigned customer locations. This role serves as the primary field-facing partner to customers, Operations, Logistics, and internal stakeholders, ensuring best-in-class execution while driving new distribution, display optimization, and revenue growth.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Customer Execution & Compliance
- Conduct regular door audits at customer locations to ensure operational, quality, and merchandising standards are met.
- Identify execution gaps and communicate issues to Operations and Logistics teams, following through to resolution.
- Ensure customer locations consistently meet company and brand standards.
Issue Resolution & Customer Support
- Act as the first point of contact for customer delivery, product, and display issues.
- Partner with General Managers, Operations, and the 3PL Logistics team to build contingency plans and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Proactively address risks to service, sales, and execution.
Sales Growth & Expansion Support
- Support territory expansion by coordinating new customer launches and ensuring 3PL readiness and execution excellence.
- Execute display optimization initiatives and sell in incremental space, features, and store-level opportunities.
- Identify and drive upsell opportunities aligned to customer and business objectives.
Relationship Management
- Build strong business relationships with key customer stakeholders, including senior decision makers within national accounts.
- Serve as a trusted partner to customers, identifying opportunities and selling in relevant solutions.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Leverage reporting tools and dashboards to track key performance metrics, including Sales, APD, SDS %, and Prime Margin %.
- Monitor territory performance against budget and targets, proactively course-correcting when results are off track.
- Share insights and recommendations with internal partners to drive continuous improvement.
Best Practices & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure best practices are developed, documented, and consistently implemented at the customer level.
- Support execution excellence through standardization and process improvement.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of field sales, account management, or customer-facing experience (CPG or retail preferred)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, and Sales teams
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales and performance data
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
