Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Cloud Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) , Microsoft Azure , and DevOps practices to design, implement, automate, and support cloud-based infrastructure and application deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments while driving infrastructure automation, CI/CD adoption, and operational excellence across multi-cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS and Azure environments.

Implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Monitor cloud resource utilization and optimize performance, availability, and cost.

Manage virtual networks, storage solutions, compute resources, and cloud security controls.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as: Terraform

AWS CloudFormation

Azure Bicep/ARM Templates

Streamline operational workflows through scripting and automation.

Security & Compliance

Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, encryption, and network security.

Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities within cloud environments.

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Monitoring & Operations

Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.

Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.

Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as required.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

Partner with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture and DevOps best practices.

Document cloud environments, operational procedures, and deployment standards.

Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Success Metrics

Cloud environment uptime and reliability

Deployment frequency and success rate

Reduction in manual operational tasks through automation

Security compliance and audit readiness

Cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency

Incident response and resolution effectiveness

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

3–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or DevOps roles.

Hands-on experience managing AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
