The working schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Mondays as needed.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Chairside Assistance:

  • Support the doctor during examinations, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and other related treatments.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and operatory cleanliness
  • Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos as needed
  • Monitor patient vitals and provide pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
  • Ensure all sterilization protocols and infection control standards are met
  • Help manage inventory and order surgical supplies
  • Perform lab duties such as designing, preparing, and handling dental materials, fabricating temporary restorations, and managing impressions and models.

Patient Care:

  • Accurately record patient medical histories and vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
  • Provide clear instructions on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Strive to deliver a positive and memorable experience for every patient at each visit.

Sterilization & Infection Control:

  • Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe, hygienic clinical environment.
  • Routinely inspect, clean, and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure proper function and safety.

Team Culture & Engagement:

  • Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and enjoyable workplace by fostering positive relationships with team members.
  • Actively participate in morning huddles, team meetings, and office events to stay aligned and engaged with practice goals and culture.

Requirements:

  • Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA)
  • Expanded function in Radiation and Safety is required. Nitrous and Coronal polishing are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience; surgical experience preferred
  • CPR certification required
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care skills
  • Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
