Position: Painter/Remodeler - Facilities Management - FT
Job Summary
The Painter Remodeler reports to the Zone Maintenance Supervisor for daily assignments with painting and some minor carpentry to meet patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates, prepares, and estimates time and material for minor projects, painting, and other assignments. Follows blueprint drawings when required.
- Follows oral and written instructions and provides detailed information that impacts the assignment.
- Adheres to all Life safety and regulatory compliance measures and all safety guidelines with OSHA, CMS, and NFPA.
- Responds to floods and other emergency situations that may occur and interfere with patient care and safety.
- Must possess knowledge of building firewalls, smoke compartments, and other structural related compartments.
- Must have the ability to prepare painting chemicals and other associated substances within job responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of hospital experience in engineering (mechanical, carpentry, and painting).
