Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

We are looking for an experienced medical assistant with phlebotomy skills to work in a solo practitioner internal medicine practice. Principal responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, simple injections, ordering supplies, and obtaining EKGs. We value candidates with excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical capabilities, and a willingness to assume general office responsibilities including the use of our Electronic Health Record (Athena), answering telephones, scheduling patients, and performing other routine front and back-office tasks. We strive to foster a relaxed and supportive environment for patients and staff, while maintaining high standards of medical care and efficiency.

This is a part-time position (approximately 31 hours/week) with the option to join a retirement program; however, health insurance is not offered to our employees.
