Production Manufacturing Operator - Onsite

Sarasota County, FL area

SHIFT/HOURS - Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (possible overtime)

Salary range – $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

JOB SUMMARY:

Our company is focused on hiring individuals who are passionate about delivering overall health to our customers. The Production Manufacturing Operator specializing in weighing and blending will have the opportunity to perform manufacturing operations (raw material weighing, blending, encapsulation) and/or packaging through equipment setup, operation, cleanup, and maintenance, in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This is an on-site opportunity in Sarasota County, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with possible overtime. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / DESIRED:

  • Resume should show 5+ years of experience with weighing, blending, and encapsulation equipment, such as (e.g., Bosch, TES,or other equipment).
  • Must be comfortable wearing PPE gear such as hair nets, face masks, foot covers, lab coats, gloves, and protective footwear. Cell phones are not allowed in lab and production environments.
  • Resume should show experience performing accurate weighing and dispensing of raw materialsin accordance with approved batch records, work instructions, standard operating procedures, etc.
  • Ability to maintain strict compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, GFSI/SQF standards, and company policies during all manufacturing activities.
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy objects (50 pounds) daily.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and visual perception.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and manage time accordingly to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an individual contributor and/or work in a team-based environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as required):

  • Performed accurate weighing and dispensing of raw materials in accordance with approved batch records, work instructions, standard operating procedures, etc.
  • Operated and set up blending, mixing, and encapsulation equipment, ensuring proper changeovers and adjustments to meet production requirements.
  • Conducted equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and changeover following SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintained strict compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, GFSI/SQF standards, and company policies during all manufacturing activities.
  • Completed batch records, logbooks, and production documentation accurately and in real time.
  • Ensured cleanliness of production areas, equipment, and utensils through proper sanitation and line clearance procedures.
  • Monitored production processes to meet or exceed quality, safety, efficiency, and output metrics.
  • Recorded preventive maintenance activities, equipment downtime, quality checks, and production data, performing required calculations.
  • Assisted with inventory control, including cycle counts and stocking released materials.
  • Actively participated in safety programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and required training, including cGMP and food safety programs.
  • Followed all company safety rules and supported a culture of workplace safety and compliance.

  • Document all production efforts in appropriate logs, forms, reports, and databases.
  • Ensure the required quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained with respect to cGMP and SQF operating procedures, all documentation, area housekeeping, production suites, and compliance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Working and partnering with other groups for requirements relating to quality systems, safety, equipment maintenance, and warehousing for cGMP and SQF initiatives.
  • Maintains appropriate employee hygiene and cleanliness.
