Location: Sacramento International Airport (SMF) - Sacramento, CA
Salary Range: $17.50 per hour
Shift: Overnight 7:30 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. (Weekends & Holidays Required)
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Overnight Janitors at Sacramento International Airport (SMF).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities General cleaning and disinfecting of offices and airport facilities
Sweeping and mopping floors
Dusting surfaces
Emptying trash cans and waste receptacles
Cleaning and maintaining jet bridges
Cleaning stairways and common areas
Maintaining gate areas and passenger waiting spaces
Following all company safety procedures and airport regulations
Performing additional cleaning duties as assigned
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift
Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10-20 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a reliable telephone number for contact purposes
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Must be able to pass a required drug and alcohol screening (DOT or Non-DOT, as applicable)
Must be willing to comply with random testing requirements
