TITLE: House Manager/Property Manager MUST BE LOCAL TO THE SEATTLE AREA
REPORTS TO: Chief of Staff
LEVEL: Senior / High-Level Role, 7+ years’ relevant experience preferred
We are representing a family in seeking an Estate/Property Manager for a newly purchased private residential property in Seattle. The ideal candidate will be local to Seattle and able to facilitate the logistics of a move from Northern California for a private family. They will oversee the daily operations and long-term care of a private residential property in the Seattle area. This role is responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard, fully prepared for the Principal(s)’ arrivals, and operating smoothly at all times.
The Estate Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for household operations, staff oversight, vendor coordination, property maintenance, renovation projects, and related estate management needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, discreet, and experienced in managing private residences, household teams, service standards, and complex property needs with minimal direction.
This role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs and preferences of the Principal(s). The position may grow over time to include additional staff, expanded responsibilities, and oversight of additional properties or projects.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in property management, private household operations, luxury property management, hospitality management, construction/project management, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing a private residence, high-end household, estate team, or multi-faceted property is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage household staff, vendors, contractors, service providers, and competing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Strong property management skills, including experience overseeing maintenance, repairs, household systems, budgets, vendor relationships, and renovation or construction
- Ability to prepare a residence for Principal arrivals and ensure a seamless, high-touch household
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to create systems, procedures, schedules, manuals, and follow-up processes.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to identify needs before they become
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with Principal(s), family office representatives, staff, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and act in the best interests of the Principal(s).
- Strong discretion and commitment to privacy and
- Comfortable using technology and household management tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, shared drives, task management platforms, expense tools, smart home systems, and security or vendor platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support Principal arrivals, property needs, emergencies, vendors, and special projects.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Prepare the property for Principal(s)’ initial move-in and subsequent arrivals, including coordinating household readiness, staffing coverage, vendors, supplies, maintenance, security, and any special requests.
- Identify and coordinate with the appropriate vendors and in-house staff to ensure a smooth and efficient move for a private family.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Seattle property to ensure the residence is well-maintained, organized, secure, and ready for use at all times.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all estate operations, property-related needs, household services, and urgent issues.
- Manage and supervise household staff, including scheduling, task assignment, performance oversight, recruitment support, onboarding, training, and coordination of coverage.
- Partner closely with the Principal(s), family office, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment with Principal preferences.
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs, service gaps, repairs, safety concerns, and opportunities to improve household operations.
