Position Summary
Are you energetic, professional, and results-driven. We are looking for a Telephone Sales Representative to join our growing team in Wethersfield, CT and contact our warm leads and schedule appointments with our financial advisors. This role is responsible for engaging prospective clients by phone, building rapport, explaining the value of a complimentary financial consultation, or reengaging prospects to come back in for a follow up appointment.
No cold prospecting required—we provide leads, and training. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys helping people and earning performance-based bonuses, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients from company-provided leads.
- Reconnect with the prospect and communicate the value of coming in for a visit.
- Build trust and connection with individuals age 55 and older.
- Schedule appointments for financial advisors and accurately document all interactions in our CRM.
- Meet or exceed daily call activity and appointment-setting goals.
- Handle objections professionally and confidently.
- Effective calendar management with booking appointments.

Requirements
- Previous experience in telephone sales, appointment setting, or inside sales.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Professional and friendly phone presence.
- Comfortable speaking with retirees and pre-retirees.
- Ability to build rapport, use persuasive language and handle objections effectively.
- Salesforce experience a plus along with knowledge of the financial services industry
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
