Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive project success from groundwork to finishing touches, contributing to the development of infrastructure and commercial properties. Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the operation of specialized vehicles including excavators skid steers , front loader trucks, as needed for various project phases.
  • Perform site preparation activities including grading, excavation, and land clearing to ensure a solid foundation for construction work.
  • Assist with material handling tasks such as loading and unloading supplies using appropriate machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use; perform basic maintenance and report any issues promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.
  • Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar (CAT) equipment and other major brands.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL) is a plus experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks. if needed
  • Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and operate machinery based on specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction processes including site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
